Make your partner a book of coupons that are redeemable upon request. In our early (read lean) years, this was a favorite holiday gift. Some coupons I came up with were "Good for full body massage", "Good for an evening with friends", "This entitles the bearer to one day without cleaning" and "One night of unbridled passion". Not all of our coupons were romantic in nature, but those that weren’t focused on things that we knew would help each other out or give some type of relaxation. Being romantic sometimes means doing things for your partner that aren’t especially romantic in nature.
