A Day at the Home Spa

Whether you will be celebrating Valentine's Day alone this year or you want to impress someone you care about, a day at the home spa can be a special treat. Simply put aside an entire day for pampering, either for yourself or for someone else. This idea can be extremely affordable if you use homemade beauty recipes. This idea has great romantic potential when one partner pampers the other, but can also be used to de-stress any day of the month or week. Start out with breakfast in bed. Slather on potions that make your hair shiny, your skin fresh and create a body that is invigorated. Include a long soak in in a hot bath (don't forget homemade bath salts or some type of bubble bath for a truly luxurious atmosphere). Paint your nails and toenails (or do it for your partner). Brush and style your hair (or do it for your partner). There are so many potential romantic and relaxing situations with this idea that I'll leave the rest for your imagination. Regardless, take a day to truly enjoy yourself and/or your partner. If you would like to do this for Valentine's Day, but you don't have the time on that particular day...simply create a "coupon" for a day at the home spa to be used at a later date.
