Vacation at Home

Pretend that you are taking a week-end vacation with your partner. Tell everyone you know that you're taking a vacation with your partner. If need be tell them that you will be spending the weekend at a small bed-and-breakfast right outside of town (or the city). Use your vacation (and/or sick) days to get out of work if need be. If people ask for the phone number, simply tell them that you really don't want to be disturbed by anything. If need be, tell them that you are taking a mini honeymoon or second honeymoon. Once your vacation starts, unplug the phone and television and start enjoying time with your partner...alone. Concentrate only on each other during your "vacation". If the door rings, don't answer it. It can wait. This is a great way to get some time alone and cultivate your relationship, without interruptions.
